How to Pack an Apartment for Moving – Step-by-Step Guide

Good packing shortens a move and reduces the risk of damage. These are the steps we recommend.

Start 2–3 weeks ahead

Begin with things you do not use every day: seasonal clothes, books, decorations and the guest room.

Prepare boxes and materials

You need boxes of different sizes, tape, a marker and protective material. Moving boxes are available with our service.

Heavy in small boxes, light in large boxes

Pack books and dishes in small boxes, and bedding and clothes in larger ones.

Label every box

Write the room and contents. Unpacking after the move is much faster.

Protect fragile items

Pack a first-day box

Documents, chargers, basic kitchen items and toiletries should be within reach.
